Time to Celebrate!
Well, last night was the start of our week off, and we celebrated by going to dinner with Wayne, Halceyn, and Dalton. We went to Texas Roadhouse (yumm), and we had such a good time! We also had some pretty good news to celebrate too, Steve and I are going to have a baby!! We are so excited, I am nine weeks along and am just getting over the being-sick-ALL-the-time stage. I think that the thought of having another person added to our family has finally settled in for both of us, and we are now at the point of being very happy.

2nd Year Anniversary
Well, yesterday was our 2nd year anniversary! It is so weird that we have been married for two entire years! We both had to work, but we got off a bit early and celebrated by going to dinner at Red Lobster and then to a movie (Time Traveler's Wife) at Jordan Commons. It was nice that we just got to be together and relax having just finished our long seven days at work. It was a good day.

Visiting the Family

Well, on our last week off we headed down to Moroni to visit my family. Steve went golfing with Digger all Wednesday morning, and got so sunburnt, while I hung out with my nieces all day long. We went swimming in their plastic pool out back, ran through the sprinkler, and just laid out in the hot sunshine, we had a blast! We also went to see the movie Night at the Museum 2 and played card games with the family. It was quite nice and relaxing after our long week on.

Our new home!!
Well, Steve and I recently bought our first home, we are so excited. We had been house hunting for about six months, and just when we thought that we were out of luck and wouldn't find our perfect house...we found the one. Our new home is located in Midvale, and it is just a smaller guy, but we are very excited about it. When we first got the house it needed...quite a bit of TLC. There was old seventies carpet throughout the entire house and it needed a new paint job. So first thing we did was rip out all that gross carpet and laid new tile in the kitchen and bath, refinished the hardwoods in the front room and hall, and new carpet in the bedrooms and living area. It looks so good. We then continued to paint all the rooms and bathroom cabinets, replace light fixtures and are now in the process of putting in baseboards. It has been really hard and tedious work...but it really has been all worth it. Here are some before and after pictures so you can see for yourself all the work that we have accomplished.
