Swimming!!

Well, on our last week off from work Steve and I headed down to Cedar City for one last visit before the baby came. My sisters-in-law (Krystal and Sheri) and my mother-in-law helped to throw me a baby shower, and it was so much fun. I saw friends and family there that I haven't seen in a long time, and we had a good time just visiting and catching up. Later that night the entire Fobert family wanted to go swimming at Cedar City's public pool, I wasn't really down for this considering a) I really am not a chlorine fan being a contact wearer, b) I didn't bring a swimsuit, and c) Um...Hello, I'm 35 weeks pregnant and HUGE! But Krystal talked me into going and so we all piled in the van and went, and... It was so much fun!! We had such a nice time soaking, playing, and relaxing, and it was so fun to see all the kids splashing around and goofing off. It felt really good letting the pressure of my belly off my back, feet, and ribs. I recommend a nice long swim to anyone who is pregnant and needing to relax when the tub just doesn't do it. Robert had a water-proof camera and took lots of crazy pics of us underwater and playing around, so here are some of those pics (and some of them are pretty funny).

Painting the Baby's Room!

Well, this is (finally) the week that we are starting to get the baby's nursery all ready! We have had all the bedding for weeks, but just haven't had the time off from work to get it done. Steve is going to be painting the walls green and tan, and then we get to put up our crib! I think that once the room is ready I'll be able to relax more knowing that if she were to come sooner rather than later, we'd be ready for her. I still have ten more weeks of this pregnancy to go, and I am counting off the days on my calendar till I'm finished. I have mixed feelings about pregnancy, I love the fact that I am carrying another person in me...its such a neat feeling, but the pains are horrible! I also think that I am just anxious to get her in my arms already.

Halloween

This last week we went to Moroni to visit the Family for Halloween. We had a great time, I had just finished up my rotation weeks for work and I finally got a week off after 5 straight weeks of work! Mostly we just relaxed, tended my neices, watched the World Series (GO YANKEES!!) and I caught up with fam while Steve played basketball and golf. It was also my neice, Tylee's Birthday party on Saturday, so I helped my sister with that. It was so fun to see the little kids running around a playing games, it is so weird that Im going to have one of those little squirts soon, CRAZY! We got the girls ready and took them to the Mt. Pleasant parade, they looked so cute in their witch costumes. I cant wait till next year till I have a little rascal to dress up. We will be finding out in three weeks if it is a boy or a girl, and I cant wait!! After that then I can actually start buying things and getting the baby's room painted and ready.

Time to Celebrate!

Well, last night was the start of our week off, and we celebrated by going to dinner with Wayne, Halceyn, and Dalton. We went to Texas Roadhouse (yumm), and we had such a good time! We also had some pretty good news to celebrate too, Steve and I are going to have a baby!! We are so excited, I am nine weeks along and am just getting over the being-sick-ALL-the-time stage. I think that the thought of having another person added to our family has finally settled in for both of us, and we are now at the point of being very happy.

2nd Year Anniversary

Well, yesterday was our 2nd year anniversary! It is so weird that we have been married for two entire years! We both had to work, but we got off a bit early and celebrated by going to dinner at Red Lobster and then to a movie (Time Traveler's Wife) at Jordan Commons. It was nice that we just got to be together and relax having just finished our long seven days at work. It was a good day.

Visiting the Family

Well, on our last week off we headed down to Moroni to visit my family. Steve went golfing with Digger all Wednesday morning, and got so sunburnt, while I hung out with my nieces all day long. We went swimming in their plastic pool out back, ran through the sprinkler, and just laid out in the hot sunshine, we had a blast! We also went to see the movie Night at the Museum 2 and played card games with the family. It was quite nice and relaxing after our long week on.
